Sugar the Cat needs a home

Sugar is a beautiful green eyed, declawed Maine Coon mix torbie (tabby + tortie) who was surrendered to a shelter. She is quite vocal and will let you know when it’s time to eat! Mostly though she loves to cuddle and snooze in your lap or in a ray of warm sunshine. Because she is declawed she has a few special needs: She will need a low entry litter box with a soft litter that is kept clean, and due to her mild arthritis she doesn’t jump easily so she may need some steps to get up on your bed. 

 

She likes the company of other cats but as long as you are around most of the time to keep her company she would be content to be an only cat. If you are looking for a pretty low maintenance, laid back companion, Sugar may be the gal for you. Although we have not observed her with dogs we don’t think there would be a problem as long as they are gentle and respectful.
